In April of 2013 Dandelion PR was awarded the contract as the agency of record for Los Angeles’ on-the-water playground and the second largest marina in the world. Through the past 7 years our efforts have included the 50th anniversary celebration and endless travel coverage in such target publications and broadcast outlets as Sunset, ABC News’ 20/20, the Travel Channel, AskMen.com, UrbanDaddy LA, The Desert Sun and Good Day LA. We also have had success in securing top editors from the Huffington Post, MSN.com, Bing.com Travel, National Geographic Traveler, San Diego Magazine, Bon Appetit, Conde Nast Traveler and AAA’s Westways to visit the destination to create consistent first-person perspective coverage.

PASO ROBLES’ Il Cortile ristorante

Dandelion PR was hired in the summer of 2009 to launch the then under construction fine dining Italian restaurant Il Cortile Ristorante by Santa Monica transplants Santos and Carole MacDonal. Our campaign success continued through 2013 and created national buzz through our constant stream of high-profile national, regional and local media placements. Through our relationships with freelance and on-staff journalists, their coverage focusing on the new sophistication of Paso Robles included Sunset, Departures, The Los Angeles Times, W, The Hollywood Reporter, USA Today, Sherman’s Travel, Los Angeles Magazine,  T: The New York Times Magazine and Los Angeles Times Magazine.

luxury BOUTIQUE HOTEL:
Paso Robles’ Hotel Cheval

When Dandelion PR was originally hired in 2009, Hotel Cheval was no longer a new property and faced new competition. We were tasked to re-energize the hotel and position the Pony Club as both a locals’ destination and hip outdoor wine bar. By creating unique events, story angles and creative lifestyle amenities such as a S’mores Butler, we have had 10 years of success with international, national, regional and local press as well as numerous awards in Sunset, The New York Times, Trip Advisor, Conde Nast Traveller, Magazine, USA Today, UK’s Daily Telegraphs, San Francisco Chronicle, Departures, Los Angeles Times Magazine and Thrillist.com.

distillery + spirits launch:
re:find handcrafted spirits

Dandelion PR was hired to launch Paso Robles’ first craft distillery and tasting room in 2011 and created a national presence that allowed Alex & Monica Villicana to grow their spirits company to the size it is today. We implemented strategic press introductions in  New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco that propelled the brand with high-profile dedicated Re:Find feature stories and media attention in key target publications such as Wine EnthusiastSunset, The Los Angeles Times, Liquor.com, Golf Week, Tasting Table, Tasting Panel Magazine, The New York Times, Daily Candy, Thrillist.com, Imbibe, C Magazine, and Los Angeles Magazine .

m resort + las vegas raiders

Dandelion PR was hired in 2019 as the agency of record for Henderson’s M Resort Spa Casino, the southernmost resort on the famous Las Vegas Strip. Additionally, we were tasked with securing local Las Vegas media to attend a press conference in November 2019 to announce M Resort Spa Casino as the Official Team Headquarters Hotel for the Las Vegas Raiders. Our campaign success continues and has created national buzz through our constant stream of high-profile national, regional and local media placements. Through our relationships with freelance and on-staff journalists, their coverage focusing on the new partnership included The New York Times, Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas Sun, Eater Las Vegas, Raiders.com, and local broadcast coverage on CBS, Fox, ABC, NBC and Univision.

high-impact event + stunt:
high roller observation wheel

While in-house at Caesars Entertainment, Chandra created and lead the 2014 wedding campaign for the High Roller Observation Wheel. Playing host to nearly 100 lucky couples who “Put a Ring on It” for 12/13/14 – this century’s last sequential wedding date, The High Roller offered complimentary weddings and vow renewals from 10:11 a.m. to 12:13 p.m., the "in-motion" ceremonies occurred 550-feet in the air offering picturesque views of the Las Vegas skyline on the world's tallest observation wheel. The event also served as a launch for the High Roller's wedding packages, making it the city's most unique venue for the quintessential "quickie" 30-minute Las Vegas wedding. By casting officiants and finding couples to be married and renew their vows, we had international coverage success with global press.
